Curriculum
/ Academics / Curriculum

For humans to flourish, they need opportunities to ask questions, observe, hypothesize, and make meaningful connections to true and beautiful ideas. The heartbeat of a classical education is centered around the integration of and interaction with living ideas. A living idea nourishes a child’s mind, as opposed to dry and meaningless facts that require forced memorization for qualitative results. Gregory’s will strive to present a feast of living ideas to our students. Our curriculum is centered upon great ideas through reading and interacting with classical literature, experiencing beautiful and complex mathematical concepts, and providing opportunities to observe, record, and hypothesize scientific concepts. Through a carefully procured curriculum, students will be motivated to do what is GOOD, love and experience what is BEAUTIFUL, and to know what is TRUE.
